Rafael Zaiats is a Moldovan creator living in Tbilisi, Georgia (the former Soviet republic, not the southern American state, in case anyone was wondering). Makinophobe (as in, phobia of machines) is a 164 page, full color graphic novel that tells the tale of the impact of his having been struck by a car at the age of 12 gradually evolved into a fear and hatred of cars and eventually machines in general, entierely told in pantomime (textless) art, where the images tell the story and show the fear.
