Another of NoBrow's 17 x 23 series of finely crafted, french-flapped, 24 page, full color comics, The Hunter is intriguingly formatted to forefront its digitality; in other words, it appears at first that perhaps the art was formatted incorrectly, as in the solid black lines are slightly pixilated.  It's not long before it becomes clear that this was intentional on the part of the artist, who wants to convey the sense that comic is somehow taking place in a virtual realm...  Also, beginning with this volume, NoBrow has substantially reduced the price point of the 17 x 23 comics -- from $11.00 to $5.95; quite a difference!
