Here's a sharply drawn, nicely printed, 32-page bilingual (Japanese/English) comics adaptation of a classic piece of Bunraku theater from 1703.  Originally penned by Chikamatsu Monzaemon, it is adapted here by Chieko Kobayashi, who rises to the challenge of representing the oblique restrained theatrical form in this comics narrative with black and white artwork that combines clean lines with solid blacks and patterns.
