Camille Jourdy's North American debut is a high-jinx, family drama cum romantic romp through small town France. Deliberately rendered to bring out the contrast to Parisian urbanity, it is filled with quirky, memorable characters all deliciously rendered in clean, spare lines filled out with delicate water colors. Juliette makes for a thoroughly engaging – et très français – read (yet may leaving you feeling wistful).
