This book is an appropriated version of the French edition of MAUS, the entire 295 page book, in which the anonymous artist replaced all the mice with cats. Upon learning of its existence, the French publisher of Maus, Flammarion, successfully demanded the entire print run be destroyed. Never distributed outside of a few tables at Angouleme in 2012, and certainly never found in the USA.
This copy is in, we'd say, Very Good condition. There is some cover scuffing and a significant dink in the bottom right corner of the back cover, which we've posted a close-up photo of this corner as the last image on our Instagram post on this item, HERE.
This is a rare and highly controversial book. More HERE (en francais).

PLEASE NOTE: Our PayPal buttons do not currently incorporate an inventory function and so are not capable of automatically registering that an item has sold out; this must be done manually. Thus, it is within the realm of possibility that this item may appear as still available when it has actually sold out. We will make every effort to mark this as sold as soon after the fact as possible, but should it sell in the middle of the night, then the item won't be marked sold until morning. That said, should someone "buy" this item after it is no longer available, that person will receive a full refund within 24 hours (along with an apology for our lack of technical proficiency).
Discovered during the move! The rarest of the rare – Utility Sketchbook! Published by PictureBox (who else?) in 2006, Utility Sketchbook is a mini-comic size (4 1/4" x 5 1/2"), 64 page facsimile reproduction of drawings that inspired a generation of cartoonists.
You either know what this is or you don't!
