Rick Geary has done it again – but a little bit differently this time around.  As the title attests, this story is more than just another "Treasury of XXth Century Murder."  Geary is a master of recreating earlier eras, and here we have Boston of the 1920s meticulously restored with a focus on the Italian immigrant neighborhoods.  Then we are brought face to face with both the forensic science and legal systems of the day.  But this is no dry historical recreation.  All is done in service of the story, and what a story this is.  Geary's presentation is, pound for pound, one of the densest presentations of this True American Drama that continues to resonate to this day.  As with all works by Rick Geary, it is...
