Here's an Hergé homage for armchair adventurers of all ages – with a (Carl) Barksian twist: while the drama is complex and multi-layered, the characters are all cartoon ("funny") animals. While it is set in the Tintin era and takes place entirely in Europe, Spy Seal is an Anglocentric adventure with the titular character being recruited by MI-6.
Clean cut, cleanly drawn (as in ligne claire), full color, escapist fun that is, the equivalent length of a pair of Tintin albums. That's entertainment!
