Here's an Heregé hommage for armchair adventurers of all ages – with a (Carl) Barksian twist in as much as all that while the drama is comple and multi-layered, the characters are all cartoon ("funny") animals.  While is is set in the Tintin era and takes place entirely in Europe, Spy Seal is an Anglocentirc adventure with the titular character being recruited by MI-6.  

Clean cut, cleanly drawn (as in ligne claire), full color, escapist fun that is, the equivalent length of a pair of Tintin albums.  That's entertainment!
