The latest from the unstoppable Noah Van Sciver is this new series from Uncivilized Books.  It delivers up recollections from Noah's New Jersey childhood that dig deeper into the world of One Dirty Tree.  Maple Terrace takes the highly appealing – to hardcore comic book fans, anyway – form of 32 pages of full color comics printed on dusty colored, old school newsprint, with a matte cover of only slightly heavier weight.  Here is Noah, age 8.  Witness his personal trials and tribulations, replete with agonies and victories.  And, yes, comic books play a central role here.  Key issue: Spawn #5.
