OUT OF STOCK!
In 208 mostly full color pages, Peter Kuper draws on his three decades of NYC residency to spin some tales, sketch some observations, pen some social commentary, and generally let the city flow through his senses through his brain to his hand and onto the paper in a variety of forms – most notably comics! – that fill this sturdy, full size hardcover volume. A standout in this collection, from today's perspective, is the 1990 story, "The Wall", featuring none other than our current president, in his (not so) erstwhile role as NYC real estate mogul, as he builds a wall – at first together with another NYC mogul/mobster, and then solo – to keep out the undesirables. There are also several memorable post-9/11 ruminations.
