Here's Gary's own write-up:
"In 2003, I started a project on my website offering custom drawings that find their inspiration from three keywords provided by the person commissioning the drawings, all ink and wash on paper, 6" x 8" in size.
"On the site I explain athat the client is buying the 'art object' and not the rights to the image, which are retained by the artist, a standard arrangement in the realm of art-making and collecting.
"This book collects the first hundred drawings commissioned in the ongoing project, excluding drawings where someone changed the simple rules of the project by requesting work from a photo, or a realistic portrait, for example.
"As I do the drawings, it is fun to imagine what the patron might be mentally picturing when the suggest their keywords. Thanks to all the patrons of this project for their patience and imagination."

Just for the record, this is the only volume of drawings from this project that has, to date, been published.
ALSO: This volume is also available as part of the Panter Power Play two-pack, HERE.
