Here are a pair of comics that feature Alex Toth's mature, fully developed, natural comics art at its finest. The stories by Toth are The Fox back-up stories. They are eight and ten pages, respectively, and each is a master class in comics making: drawing, black placement, compositiuon, pacing, penciling, inking, lettering (and very possibly coloring, as well; we're just not certain) are all right on.
We have managed to assemble a few sets of these two comic books from 1983 (over 40 years ago!) and are offering the pair for a very special price.
There's a gallery of pages and panels from this comic book along with three others (this one comes last) that we posted together all at once, HERE.
Limit: ONE set per customer.
Here it is, the singular – and only* – team up of Trevor Von Eeden (pencils) and Alex Niño (inks). Working from a script by Robin Snyder and Bill Dubay, this issue-lemgth Mr. Justice story is a one-of-a-kind wonder! If you are familiar with these artists, then you'll have an idea of what we're talking about here.

Here's the 1984 Baxter Paper collection of the complete Manhunter series by Walter Simonson thgat originally ran in Detective Comics #437 - #443 ten years earlier, in 1974. Few comics works have been as influential as these Manhunter comics. Simonson forged a new approach to page layout, storytelling and, perhaps most notably, intgegrated sound effects into the overall design of the page. Marshall R\ogers, Frank Miller, and, most of all, Howard Chaykin were all huely influenced by it, and they, in turn, went on to extend its influence through their own work.
This 76 page, full color comics book is essential reading for anyone interesetd in the historiucal dewvelopment of comics art in America – and also anyone who just likes good comics.
We have just a small handful of copies. All "as new"; NM.

Outsiders Annual #1 is a comic book art tour de force created by Kevin Nowlan in 1986 from a script by Make Barr. 44 outstanding pages – printed on Baxter paper – with pencils, inks and colors all by Nowlan – along with a fully painted cover. This is the book that established Nowlan's rep and that has had his fellow artists poring over it in admiration ever since.
We found two very nice copies in the archives (there could be more, but not making any promises).
