Yes, it's taken us awhile to get this one in, but now we have a good supply, so any and all Copacetic Michael DeForge fans may now stroll in – physically or virtually – at their leisure to pick up this new 16-page comic by the creator of Lose.  DeForge is an idiosyncratic iconoclast, working to employ the building blocks of comics to forge (yes, sometimes a person's name is significant) a fresh comics language for today.  Matt Seneca has hosted a preview accompanied by an interview with DeForge, here.

This chunky square-format digest collects the first three issues of the hard-to-find Kid Mafia series.  Yes, you can read these online here (along with the just released fourth issue), but it doesn't count unless you have the book, right?  No matter how you look at it, for the first time here at Copacetic, there are now plenty of Michael DeForge comics to go around.  He's got the pedal to the metal...

Here's an up close and personal personal process zine that pulls back the curtain of Sammy Harkham's creative process for this epic decade-in-the-making work.  It's a 5" x 7",  48 page risograph printed in blue on plus weight flat white stock with cardstock covers printed in red and green.  It's full of sketches, notes, thumbnails, tearsheets, film stills, photo refs, a few full pages of comics and even a recipe!
