This Saturday, September 28, from 11am to 6pm, we join our downstairs neighbors Mind Cure Records in a Dollar Day Sale, only in our case it will be a three-for-a-dollar day sale!  

Then, as soon as we've taken a minute to shift the store from sale mode to party mode, it's Santoro Con V:  The Pompeii Release Party, from 7 to11pm!

And while we're on the subject of things Santoro, there may be some readers of this space who are unaware of the recently held Comics Workbook Compeition that Frank put together.  There was a simply astonishing amount of great work that was submitted, all of which can be read online via this page announcing the winners that includes a complete list of entries following the announcement.  

Just arrived stock of copies of Jim Thompson's 1952 masterwork, The Killer Inside Me, which provides an astonishingly insightful look - through an unprecedentedly adept use of the literary device of "unfaithful narrator" - at the potential for deceit, corruption and abuse of power that comes with the authority of office, in this case, that of a small town Texas sheriff. The Copacetic Mail Room will be closed for the week of July 29, 2013.  What this means for internet mail order customers is that any internet order placed after 3:00pm on Sunday, July 28 will not be shipped until Monday, August 5.  This closing only affects internet orders.  The shop will remain OPEN regular hours during this period.  Our apologies for any inconvenience.
