A propulsive, engaging read that will answer many of the questions curious readers may have about the history and tenets of Scientology, its basis in Dianetics, and, especially, the life and times of Scientology's founder and the author ofDianetics, L. Ron Hubbard, which is where the book is strongest (and craziest!).  Going Clear is far from the last word on Scientology, however, for with every question it answers it raises another, and it is a bit on the breezy side, to be sure, but interested readers will find themselves engrossed and will discover that they have every reason to be thankful for what it does provide, as Scientology is legendary for giving those who attempt to dig into it a (very) hard time, as this book details among its many revelations.
