It's been awhile since we were last treated to a solid chunk of Ms. Castrée's lush linework in print form may now at lat rejoice. This black and white hardcover volume from Drawn and Quarterly is "a devastating graphic novel ... about the heartbreaking loss of innocence when a child is forced to be the adult amongst grownups" that relates the childhood and young adult years of a "daydreamer" who finds her way to adulthood through a path constructed of "punk rock, drawing and the promise of true independence."
