Land of Sons is a post-apocalyptic tale in which – unsurprisingly – stupidity and ignorance reign and ceaseless mindless violence is the form of governance.  It is also a coded family drama of divorce and divided allegiance.

To depict a world in which almost no one can read, Gipi goes all out here in his detailed pen & ink drawing to show the experience of living in it. So, art fans, take note.
