We've been meaning to list this here, but it kept selling out at the shop, and so we failed to get around to doing so... until now! Ms. Stein has, in fairly short order, developed a personal cartoon language, and she is employing it adventurously here, in her second collection. Starting off with a wholly original comics commentary on Theodore Drieser's epic 1900 novel of a country girl making it in the big city, Sister Carrie, Stein then continues on in other, equally ambitious directions. Her work has the potential to appeal to readers across the alt/indy comics spectrum, and we look forward to seeing more of it. Take a look at this PDF preview and see what you think.
