Best Breasts in the West tells the author's story of what transpired after finding a lump in her breast. This is not just "medical comics". There's lot more to it than that. It's about friends and family and work and about the feelings of someone who was raised a Mormon, about their breasts.
The comics storytelling is effective, and the book is intriguingly printed. Despite being offset printed in China, it has a real risograph feel, like it was maybe originally printed as a series of individual riso comics which were then scanned for this edition; even if it wasn't. Regardless, each chapter has it's own visual style and color palette making for a nice, visually varied presentation that matches the story's stages.
