In the works for a decade, The Ephemerate: Shaping the Exquisite Nature of Grief states on the title page that it "document(s) the physical, biological, mental, and psychological effects of loss." This 9 1/2" x 12 1/2", heavy-duty hardcover runs 216 pages of comics that are, for the most part, drawn in black & white, yet the book is reproduced in color in order to capture the low-key color fields that occasionally and erratically erupt ito the visual field. It's only just out of the box here at Copacetic, so we don't have much to say other than Tyler's art is as vital as ever.
