Some readers enjoying Fantagraphics' excellent new comics anthology series, NOW, may not realize that it is, more or less, MOME 2.0.  Launched in 2005, to at least a degree, in response to the critical success of Kramers Ergot, MOME was Fantagraphics' first foray into a literary magazine formatted comics anthology. Running for seven years, over the course 22 issues MOME showcased the work of the best of the independent comics artists working.  In full color and black & white.
