Department of Mind-Blowing Theories is the latest collection of crsiply drawn droll humor strips from Tom Gauld.  This 160 page, horizontally formatted, hardcover collection brings together (all?) the one-pagers that (all?) originally appeared in the British magazine, New Scientist.  These particular strips, as they were created specifically for a scientifically minded audience, have the feel of Gary Larson's scientist strips that appeared with regularity in his classic Far Side single-panel comics, only with a bit more actual – and, of course, more up-to-date – science and considerably drier wit.  Enjoy!
