London-based comics maker, Liam Cobb turned in his longest work to date here, and, while we've been selling it in the shop since its release, we forgot to list list it here on the site – sorry! In the 120 duotone pages of The Prince, Cobb takes the classic fairy tale of "The Frog Prince," sets it in a modern day metropolis, and turns it on its head, transforming it into a morality play streaked with vengeance. Lots of nice clean line artwork undercuts plenty of classic fairy tale tropes and there are reversals galore – along with some eerire surreal moments.
