We received a very limited number (OK, three) of this year's CSA PGH 1/2 Share. The total edition of these only runs to, we believe, 50 copies, so these are not your every day items. THe main attraction here is Jim Rugg and Jasen Lex's Silhouette Zine. We'll post a bit more about this item shortly. Anyone interested in learning more is encouraged to contact us directly.

JIM RUGG's comics, drawings and designs critique and celebrate the popular consumer culture he grew up with -- comicbooks, wrestling, advertising, and VHS movies. His work includes Street Angel, Afrodisiac, Rambo3.5, Notebook Drawings, and the podcast, Tell Me Something I Don't Know (with Jasen Lex).http://jimrugg.com/
JASEN LEX is a designer and illustrator who makes comic books. Influenced by the cartoons, comics, and video games of the late 1970s and 1980s, his illustration style is a synthesis of these media, combining the dense backgrounds and fluid lines of traditional cell animation, with the side-scrolling structure of video games and the syncopated rhythm of panel-to-panel storytelling. He also co-hosts the podcast (with Jim Rugg), Tell Me Something I Don's Know on BoingBoing.net.http://jasenlex.com/
ALISHA WORMSLEY stays involved in the process at all times. If she is not in her studio working on her own projects, she is traveling, teaching, or working on some other aspect of the art making process, extending the art-making community. Presently, she is in between Pittsburgh and Brooklyn, writing grants, teaching and working on several personal projects including a children's book on the environmental crisis and music. She has worked, designed, implemented and exhibited new media and public art in Europe, England, South America, the Caribbean and the US.

This hand-made piece was created by Jim Rugg and Jasen Lex for CSA PGH (Community Supported Art Pittsburgh) in 2014 in a limited, signed edition of 50 copies. It runs forty full color pages, sports a laser-cut, black card-stock cover (courtesy Lizzee Solomon of the Tech Shop), and comes with a 4 page booklet providing artist and publication information in a modified MLA style. AND, each copy includes an original pen and ink silhouette, hand drawn by Jim Rugg! Through an arrangement with CSA PGH, Copacetic has been provided with nine copies which we are now able make available here, through this ONE TIME OFFER.
Anyone interested in requesting a specific silhouette drawing may email us at: copacetic at copacetic dot biz at the time of placing your order (or include the choice in a note while checking out through PayPal; if that is an option, which we think it should be). We encourage anyone so inclined to send us a first, second and third choice to improve the chance of snagging a drawing to your liking. While we cannot guarantee any choices, we do promise to match drawings on a first come first served basis, based on the time of payment.
We have provided a gallery of all nine of Jim Rugg's silhouette drawings in a post for this item on ello, HERE.
