This issue feels like the best yet.  From the literary approach, most notably embodied in the oblique, slow burning fuse of Cameron Arthur's "Sacred Heart" and the complex character construction of Anad's "The River Keeps on Flowing", to the personal comics flavored with expressionism along with a (fun) sense of the absurd, as we find, to varying degrees, in James Collier's "We're Here", Sam Szabo's "The Enlightened Transsexual in: The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Testosterone Blocker" and Syd Madia's "All the Time Aquatics", to the anecdotal, insightful and humorous storytelling of Swayam Parekh's "Shabana, I Hate Tears" and Médar de la Cruz & Médar Serrata's "Fixing It", to Nate Doyle's impassioned, graphicly bold working through grief in comics form, "Earthling", to Michael Kennedy's masterclass in how to unlock the power of visual communication inherent in comics, "Jumbie's Muse", this issue of Cram Comics, which also features a wraparound cover by Lillian Ansell, has it all!  And remember, it's a limited edition, hand-printed (on heavy flat white stock) risograph, in full color, duotone and black & white as per each work's requirements.  Don't miss it!

After spending time with this issue, one gets the feeling that of looking through a window at a comics road that stretches long into the future.
