Hot off the press, it's the latest publication from Bubbles Press. And here's what the publisher, Brian Baynes, has to say about it:
"The third book from Bubbles and the first collected works from Anand, one of India's best young cartoonists. Born, raised and based in Delhi he's been self-publishing a one-man anthology called Zoo for a few years now, and inside this collection is the first three issues. I first read Anand's Zoo a couple of years ago and I was immediately struck by his creative storytelling. Incredibly human narratives that come with a dash of surrealism and comedy. A fantastic brushstroke to guide you through these eight amazing comics. I'm very excited to be publishing his work for the first time in America, truly one of my favorite artists going."
It runs 120 magazine-size (8 1/2" x 11") pages, and is printed in black and white offset on high quality newsprint, making for a nice feel and an absorbing reading experience. Comics!

Here's an issue sure to appeal to a wide swath of Copacetic customers. Edited by Caroline Cash, it includes equal parts hepster faves fromn the USA and new-to-us experimenters from Europe.
If there's anyone reading this who has yet to try an issue of this long-running international comics anthology, this might be the issue to go out on a limb and try one of these pint-size powerhouses.

Imported from India by Bubbles Press, here's the latest from the one-man comics powerhouse, Anand! 72 (roughly) magazine-sized pages make up this attractively printed squarebound edition of the fifth issue of Zoo, which consists of three long-ish stories: "Notty Sis-In-Law: A 4 Ears Story"; "One Foot in the Grave"; and "Vulture", the destined-to-be-a-future-classic meditation on the life of the artist, creativity, ethics, the question of originality, and... comics! which, alone, is worth the price of admission; and a few assorted short-shorts to round out the edition.
AND: All orders for this issue also come with w 32-page digest-size comic book, 4 Ears: The Story So Far..., (re)presenting the first appearance of the character 4 Ears (who appears in the lead story) from Zoo #2.
We just scored TWO copies (*both include 4 Ears: The Story So Far..., just FYI) of this now out of print (at least in the USA) classic!
Limit: ONE per customer...
