The Spectators is a lush watercolor meditation on urban -- specifically Parisian -- life that focuses on questions of identity, mortatlity and fate.  The work on display in these pages appears to have effected a synthesis of the works of Brecht Evens and Jon McNaught.  Beautifully printed (in Poland) on a very nice, heavy, flat white stock, this NoBrow book is a pleasure to peruse.   You can get a bit more of a sense of what we're talking about in the preview pics on the NoBrow page.
