An entire graphic novel about the making of a single painting, Las Meninas (The Ladies-in-Waiting) by Diego Velazquez.  Who'd a thunk it?

Highly appealing, boldy drawn black & white artwork is overlaid with full page color fields of stoney greys, mustard yellows, blood reds, icey blues, and, occasional combinations of these, and very crisply printed on a nice, toothy, off-white paper stock.
