Reading these stories it seems clear that while Buzzelli was – prior to this release – "virtually unknown in English", his works were almost surely on the radar of comcis creators of the western world – especially those working in the horror genre, and partciularly those whose work appeared in Warren mags like Creepy and Eerie.
