Believe it or not, the United States Postal System (USPS) has raised their rates again! It's not much, but Copacetic has had to give its shipping charges a small bump to keep up.
Just for the record, on average – and in total – it costs us slightly more to ship a package than we charge. Sometimes we collect more for shipping than we spend, but, overall we spend a bit more than we collect – and will continue to do so even after this slight increase.
Occasionally – primarily on international orders – the discrepancy is great enough that we either refund the difference to the customer, in those cases where we collect substantially more than our actual shipping costs, or ask the customer for additional funds, in those cases where we collect substantially less than our actual shipping costs.
In a nutshell, it is our goal to keep shipping charges as close to our actual costs as possible.
