Please join us from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, February 22 to welcome Ronald Wimberly and celebrate his latest release, Black History in Its Own Words.  Wimberly will be coming through town straight from wrapping up his Graphic Novel Residency Exhibition at the Columbus Museum of Art (you still have a chance to catch it!).

SPECIAL OFFER:  Every copy of Black History in Its Own Words purchased during the month of February (aka Black History Month) will include a complimentary copy of African-American Poetry: An Anthology, 1773-1927 (shown above), a collection of 71 works, chronoligically arranged from Phillis Wheatley through to Harlem Renaissance poets such as Claude McKay, Langston Hughes and Countee Cullen.  FREE  This offer will, of course, be in full effect during this event.

also:

The indexing on our main "Search Copacetic" engine apparently has a few holes in it – primarily related to creator searches, so we've added this option to the front page, below.

(You can also find this option – along with several others – on every category page by clicking (options) in the teal bar next to the category name.)

Creator name

PLEASE NOTE:  Creator name will auto-fill options; just select the one you want then hit enter/return on your keyboard.  ALSO:  You may need to scroll up the page once results are returned.
