Relax and Enjoy This Year's Holiday Season

In acknowledgement (and, to a very limited degree, in support) of the “Mass Blackout” organized by Blackout the System, that is being promoted to encourage people to refrain from shopping and spending unnecessarily during the traditional shopping frenzy that takes place around Thanksgiving weekend – this year from November 25 to December 2 – and so send a message to corporate America (especially its financial arm) that consumer choice extends to not buying anything in order to effectively embody the principle that people have the power, Copacetic won't be running any "Black Friday" or "Cyber Monday" sales this year (although we may have a special or two after this period has passed).

While Copacetic is a (very) small business, and so not a target of the Mass Blackout, we do nonetheless process payments on this site through PayPal – often via major credit card companies.

All that said, we will, of course, continue to accept and process orders during this period.

And, just a quick reminder to anyone who is thinking that they might like to support the Mass Blackout by waiting to complete their Copacetic purchase on the site until after December 2 that putting an item into the Copacetic PayPal cart does NOT reserve that item.  An item could sell out while in the cart (in which case a refund would be issued).  It happens.

Ultimately, the greatest benefit of the Mass Blackout will be to free up more time in which participants can relax and enjoy each others' company (instead of running around shopping).  Here's wishing you and yours a safe and low-stress holiday season.
