Anyone looking for some fun, full color, small-run, self-published comics that feature solid storytelling and grounded, straightforward, primarily 20-something characters, and made right here in Pittsburgh, PA (but set in Star Valley, GA) need look no further. The Audra Show features a cast of highly relatable characters who work service jobs (likely paying something in the neighborhood of the minimum wage), hang out, feel self-conscious, try to connect, hash things out, listen to each others’ problems, deal with each others’ quirks, and, now and again, maybe, just maybe, spark a romance. The Audra Show is a comic book series devoted to the dynamics of the social organism that both extends the tradition of Archie Comics and Love and Rockets and brings to it its own flavor and idiosyncrasies.
