Now THIS is a comic book! Tom Scioli has taken one of Jack Kirby's earliest works, "Solar Legion," which originally appeared in the pages of the first three issues of Crash Comics way back in 1940 and "remixed" – reformatted and redrew – it to work for a contemporary readership in today's market and added his own æsthetic burnishing touches – including highlighting the strength of Kirby's original art by reproducing it in a black and red duotone and then printing it on the perfect heavy cream colored stock for maximum oomph!
