This issue's theme is Chance.  Under the two-tone cardstock cover, its 32 pages contain the most work by editor Kramer since the very first issue!  His three feature stories:  “Counter-Shading”, on the history of camouflage; “Tundra Green”, about the history of marijuana and marijuana laws in America’s largest state; and “Our Favorite Orbits Are Getting Crowded with Space Junk”, which takes us on a guided tour of what’s floating up there, just beyond gravity’s reach.  Additionally, there are the brief pieces, “The Grey Ghost” by Emma Woodbury Rand about prohibition-era rum runners, and “A Pagoda in Pennsylvania”, by Craig Schaffer, that tells the tale of how a pagoda was erected in, of all places, Reading, PA!
