This is the story of Bix Beiderbecke, the ill-fated, but highly talented cornet player, who became the first white jazz legend. Bix is featured here in all his musical associations during his short life. From his work with The Wolverines, via his work with the bands of Jean Goldkette and Paul Whiteman, to his best work with Frank Trumbauer and his own "Gang".
